BORIKA Reinforced Mounting System for Installation of Accessories on the Hard Deck or Side FFr444

Technical Details:
The system is designed for mounting accessories provided with male adapters shaped as a 12 pointed star in rectangular mounting niches of kayaks and motorboats. Consists of a Fs219 mount and a mounting pad (110 x 53 mm). The mount comprises a female adapter. Is attached to the pad with 4 screws M6*20 DIN 912 and nuts M6 DIN 934. To install accessories, switch the locking mechanism into the UNLOCK position, insert an adapter all the way into the mount, and move the retainer into the LOCK position. This will clamp 7 out of 12 adapter teeth. The design includes a protective plug. The pad of the mounting system can be attached to the surface with four 6,3*19 DIN 9200 self-tapping screws or with four M6*20 DIN 912 screws and M6 DIN 985 nuts, supplied with it. The set includes a hex wrench. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. Protective plug — of PVC. Fasteners — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel.



Product Description:
The set is suitable for installation in rectangular niches on aluminium boats and fishing kayaks, on top of SCOTTY® mounting systems: a 341 Glue-On Mount, a 449 Portable Clamp Mount, instead of a SCOTTY® 241 Combination Side, as well as on any hard surface of the vessel: aluminum, fiberglass, polyethylene, wooden.
It consists of an Fs219 mount and a rectangular mounting pad, which due to the increased area allows you to fix accessories with increased loads. Four screws between the mount and rectangular mounting pad and four screws to the installation surface provide additional strength of the structure.
The system is reliable for fixing any BORIKA FASTen® accessories: spinning rod holders, monopods with action cameras, tables, rigging and awning constructions and much more.
Fixation of the accessory is fast and simple: switch the locking mechanism into the UNLOCK position, insert an adapter all the way into the mount, and move the retainer into the LOCK position. You can rotate accessories in 30° increments.
Thanks to the conversion adapters created by BORIKA® designers, its assembly mount can be used to fix some accessories from other brands ( SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, carp fishing tackles, etc.).

Tips on using & installation:
If the place already has holes equipped with nuts, then installation does not require drilling, You should use four screws. If there are no holes and nuts in the niche, you can install it using 4 self-tapping screws. All the fasteners are supplied with the set.
To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, it is recommended to rinse it with plenty of fresh water.

For ease of installation, the package includes a hex wrench, suitable for the fasteners provided in it.
Pay attention that the reliability of the mounting system depends not only on the mount and pad, but also on the strength of the mounting surface. For example, this should be taken into account when installing the system on polyethylene boats.
