Fish Finder Transducer Arm Mount (L — 300 mm) for Boltrope of Belly Boat ELLING OPTIMUS

Technical Details:
The assembly is designed for installation of the transducer at a distance of 300 mm from the mounting point on the ELLING OPTIMUS belly boats (float tube) boltrope. It includes the transducer arm mount and an Mx mounting system. The design consists of a transducer fastening with an M6*50 DIN 931 bolt and a square knob nut that is connected to the Ø 22 mm (L — 250 mm) tube, and tilt joint with 27.7° side splines. The mounting system has 27.7° double-sided splines and also is equipped with two Dp230 adapter washers with 7.5° splines, a spring, an M6*60 DIN 933 bolt and an M6 DIN 985 nut. The pad also includes 5 mm thick molding PVC linings that are equipped with double-sided 3M VHB tape. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The tube is made of anodized aluminium. Fasteners and a spring — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel (except for the M6 DIN 985 and M6 DIN 934 brass nuts).

The assembly of this model includes an Mx mounting system and allows the transducer to be installed on the ELLING OPTIMUS belly boat (float tube) boltrope.
The fastening of the transducer is 90° rotated in relation to the mounting pad in order to enable the installation of the transducer along the side. It allows transducers (sonars) from Lowrance, Raymarine, Garmin and Humminbird and others to be installed at a distance of up to 30 cm from the mounting point.
To secure the transducer use a 50 mm bolt, adjusted washers with small splines and a square knob nut.
The design has a tilt spline joint that adjusts the position of the equipment in 7.5° increments. The knob nut allows the structure to be fixed in the raised position when the transducer is not in use.
The tube that is the basis of the structure is made of anodized aluminium, which protects the metal against rusting and adverse environmental influences.
Materials: fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, PVC, anodized aluminium, A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel, brass.

Tips on using & installation:
An important advantage of mounting on the boltrope is that you don't have to waste time on installation or wait for the adhesive to dry. The mount with the installed accessory can be easily dismantled without leaving marks on the surface of the vessel.
In order to minimize the gap between the mounting pad and the inflatable cylinder, elastic pads equipped with 3M VHB tape, used to get a good grip on the inflatable cylinder, are included in the assembly.
It is recommended to install the system on the half-inflated cylinder.
Despite the spline connection that is provided in the assembly, all the models designed for use on a boltrope are strongly not recommended to be supplemented with extenders, since the boltrope itself is not designed for multidirectional dynamic loads.
To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
